This is a fantastic picture! I worked for John Herriott some 18 years after this photo was taken, John had the Circus World Museum animals at this same Cincinnati Gardens.

At that time the producer's name was Barney Rapp (?). Doesn't the Hanneford show still play this building?

I really like the new photo format with the enhanced enlargement feature.

Note Terrell Jacobs chute jutting out from the middle opening. Also the Wallenda high wire poles.

The circus was the debut attraction of the brand new Cicinnati Gardens and I understand it is being demolished as being to old and not up to date. Only in America.

I like your enlargement feature as well and would note that standing behind my ring is old time horse and dog trainer and Equestrian Director Leo Hamilton. Also the pony behind my dad's ring will soon enter and thread the needle as the horses go two abreast. He was a tough little stallion named Jocko, and had to be with all the big stallions in the group.
