This is Miss Allen on the Cole Show in 1937, elephants are "Bama" newly imported "Modoc" and at right the infamous Jimmy Reynolds.

Something I have been looking at for quite a while and could not put my finger on till now. Jean Allen, who I never met, Barbara Woodcock, and your daughter all have the look that I do not see in all elephant empresses. Comfort, ease,natural, like they belong there. No rah, rah, This is what I see in your pictures. The look is just there.
