From his daughter Darlene

Rex was a "can-do" guy, no problem he couldn't handle. I always said that if God came down from Heaven and gave him a week to build a rocket to the moon he would get it done somehow.
I don't think he had an enemy in the world and I never heard him knock anyone, it just wasn't in his make up.
This is a wonderful picture and I'm glad his many friends will get a chance to see it.

Thank you Buckles for the nice things you said about my father, you made me cry.

I know he is with all of his animals that he loved so dearly.

This my most favorite photo of him.

This is a wonderful picture of your dad.
I have alot of fond memories of visiting your family while we were growing up.

Hi Darlene.

I'm doing well, I'm married and have a toddler that is almost 2 (she is running so I am too)
I am now a stay at home mom but before that I worked for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. We resently moved to VA so I have been busy fixing up the house and yard and chasing after my daughter.
My parents have seen you a few times over the years so I knew that you were working as a stunt woman and that you have a daughter.
Last week I visited them on Cole Bros and Frank M(?) visited the show as well, my dad asked me if I remembered the time that we visited Rex and family at Catskills Game Farm and went catfish fishing. He was the one that took us fishing. I remember that visit and fishing--they were big fish and we put them all back.
I know that your birthday is coming up soon, happy birthday. You were born on the same day that my parents had their first date--to the Beatty Show in Philly.
I would enjoy hearing from you, my email is mmsammis@yahoo.com
