Happy Loter's Animal Show 1950

The serpents were of such great length that only a truck this size could transport them.

This time 124 years ago Jumbo was still aboard the steamship THE ASSYRIAN MONARCH,they docked in New York harbour April.9.1882.
Maybe this week should be JUMBO week?
Please post all the known photographs you may have of Jumbo taken between April 10.1882-September.15.1885(except the ones were his carcass is along the embankment of the Grand Trunk railroad in St.Thomas Ontario.
I want to see a live JUNBO.

It's funny that you brought up the April date of Jumbo coming to America. Back in 1974, it was the first week of April that I delivered my 25 from Uganda to Great Adventure in NJ.

The revisionist are trying to say nowdays that Jumbo was not as big as P.T Barnum claimed.
I say baloney.
Jumbo must have been close to 12 feet tall from the photographs
I have seen of him .
He makes all other elephants look like wimps.
