Venice Quarters #1

These pictures were taken a week ago today, John Herriott and myself in front of the former home of the Greatest Show on Earth. The last time I saw this place was Feb. of 1979.
As you can see part of the arena's roof has blown away and from inside you can see a lot of daylight.

These are an interesting group of photos to ponder, stimulating so many thoughts Past, Present and Future ?
Both you and Mr. Herriott are fortuneate to reflect on a liftime of comrodery in such a unique " era " and " realm ". Although these photos seam barron and bleak; I see the two of you with all the action there ever was going on all around you still. In the breif time I experenced the Circus I still have intense vissions of it. What goes on within your memorys and thoughts is mind boggeling to me. Thank you again for sharing this wealth of knowledge, experience and this fine collection of American Circus Documentation.
