I have never seen any horse besides a Lipazoner do a capreial. Now how is that for spelling? Amazing.
Would you know if that the same Minnie which was purchased by the children of Cleveland Ohio for pennies and presented to the Cleveland zoo
around the early part of the 20th Century?
Im not sure if they knew of the background of that particular elephant.
My Doberman is named Million, Most beautiful Dobbie I have ever seen. JC has one named MAX. I forgot the name of Cindy and Roys Dobbie but she was a beauty too.
I don't think this "Minnie" went back that far but it's an interesting question.
The Cleveland Zoo had a History of acquiring circus elephants over the years, especially from the Ringling Show.
No,its probably not the Cleveland Zoo's "Minnie",she was obtained by the Cleveland zoo in January 1907 and died in 1921 from lung fever.
Her skeleton is in the Cleveland Museum of Natural History in the collections dept.,and its determined from her bones that she was only about 18 years old when she died, which means she was about 3 or 4 years old in 1907.
Didnt the Sparks show have a elephant named Minnie who use to box as part of an act?
