Four good elephant tricks/Maximillian Gruber

As I understand it, this picture was taken while Gruber was in Mexico the elephant was "Minnie" and the pony "Prince". He later came to the U.S. and was quite a hit in Vaudeville with his next elephant "Eva" and was also featured with the Tom Mix Circus. He eventually settled up around Sheboygan and Luke Anderson recently told me that when his father bought the act for the Bud E. Anderson Circus he spent quite a while there learning all the Vaudeville skits as well as handling the zebra.
