The noise also brings Barlow’s friend “Mac,” who had been scouting around Noonak on the slim chance that the doctor might be in the vicinity. Between the mother bear’s paws and Mac’s rifle, the sled dogs are either killed or put to flight.

Tundra #48
With the danger removed, there is one final, bittersweet reunion between Barlow and the cubs. He will be going back to civilization with Mac and the cubs, now reunited with their mother, will be returning to their old way of life in the wild. |

Tundra #49
In the film’s final scene, the cubs turn to give Barlow (and the audience) one last backward glance before following their mother into the forest. |

In Fridays Vargas photo #4, Chic noticed that part of the big top was not laced. This is the reason why. Two of the problems playing in mall parking lots, lamp posts and trees. "One year with Sid Kellner (James Bros.) we had a row of parking meters in front of the grandstand." Buckles |

Harry wanted to see the 5 pole Vargas big top. I shot this in 1980 in the East Los Angeles area. |

Chic had a question about the orange and white big top. This was shot in 1974 in Torrance and goes with photo 2 from yesterday. |
