Struppi Hanneford: I saw her work a few times but her appearance in Atlanta, Ga at the old city auditorium sticks in my mind. She rode in on an Appaloosa horse with full Indian Headpiece. She was then hoisted to a great height to perform that thrilling and classy single trap act. A sight to behold. I saw her in Perry, Ga at the Georgia National Fair where she and Tommy had the contract to provide the Hanneford Circus. I said, "Hello Princess Tajana, I saw you on the Ed Sullivan Show at least two times. She immediately corrected me and gave me the total times she appeared on Ed Sullivan. It was more than two....

Trapeze stars have various adornments on the ends of their bars. Tajana had arrowheads.

Struppi was at the museum one summer (the year Mark Karoly was there). I don't no who did what because I wasn't in the tent when it went down, but someone did something in a not Struppi approved way. Apparently they were not receptive to Struppi's opinion. After a 20 minute conversation, one sided, they decided it was in everyone's best interest to do things Struppi's way. I told them she had forgotten more about how things should be done than they ever would know and they should respect her experience and quit getting butt hurt because someone corrected them.
