In 1924, Paul Mason Lewis partnered with Ray Zimmerman to field the Lewis-Zimmerman Circus. Lewis was sole owner from 1931-'42, closing during most of the WW II era. He featured The Duke of Paducah in 1935, and starred movie cowboy Jack Hoxie for 1936. He reopened the show in 1945, with Ray Marsh Brydon as partner.
