Show carried 13 elephants but only 11 performed, five in the center and three on each end.

In my early years the

Beatty Show had the

same 3 ring count

Later on there were

4 punks in ring 3

Eugene Howard "Arky" Scott stands @ C, in his high boots and safari hat. Notice the other elephant men all wear caps and neckties. This is a holdover from the circus era when all departments had specific uniforms and wore them with at least some evidence of pride.
