As mentioned before, my father was adopted in infancy by the Woodcock family of Hot Springs, Ark. and on this occasion his father Clarence Messer was passing thru town and asked to have their picture taken together. My one great regret in life is never having known any of my Grandparents, my parents were in their 30's when they married and by the time I came around they were all gone.
