 This was the center ring 5-act my father put together "Kay", "Jenny", "Hattie", "Barbara and "Anna May". When D.R. bank-rolled the Miller-Woodcock elephant act my father flew up to New York to check out the three baby elephants he had ordered but one of them had a crippled hind leg so he only came back with two "Fanny" and "Lydia" and with a seasons's contract with Siebrand Shows already signed he borrowed "Anna May" and forgot to return her. |

Jenny was on Circus Vargas also. I remember riding Jenny in Spec once and sometimes Rex would be in a hurry, whoa, the guy below was not paying attention and my back feathers and myself were rubbed up against the elephants butt in front of Jenny and her head. I supposed I did not bale out fast enough, therefore was wiped off. The Little Sisters of Jesus brought me into their caravan, took the giant pretzel wings and headpiece and gave me water.
