One day at Circus World, Chappie showed up with a gentleman who was offering this item for sale.
He explained that it was authentic since the Taxidermy people at the time had removed the remaining ivory, chopped it up into small pieces and presented them to dignitaries at a mock Funeral.
It remains in the top drawer of my desk.
