Ben #3



This act was my dream. I had Dalilah & Shannon in Dance & Adagio & tumbling to train them for this, just in case they might want to do it. "Mickey McDowell" was their dance teacher. Also we had worked together at Circus World RBB&B. She had ridden "Anna May" in the show. So she ask me if she gave my kids extra Adagio classes could she come out and ride "Anna May". I told her she could ride "Anna May" even without extra dance classes. So she is working with the kids and Ben said, hey let me try that. ( Ben was a black belt in Karate.)So he had the balance and strength. So we ended up hiring the Dance teacher. And I had my dream act. I had videoed all kinds of Adagio dances, so we would add the different things to our act. Ben surpassed all my dreams. I was so very proud of him.....Barbara....

Yes, yes a power house routine. I have a video of this act, also Ben working Anna May,Toto and Mack at the Evansville date around 1981 somewhere stashed away in a box.
At the end of the Ben and Mickey act, Ben made the milk run around the track standing up astride of the legendary Anna May, He absolutely rocked the house.
Ps I recall Chico and Big Man also being there.
