Ben, as with all showfolks had a lot of stories to tell. One I always got a kick out of was when BAC was at Lincoln Center, Ben had one of those motorized scooters; it was around 11:30 at night and he was just off the lot riding it somewhere. A cop who had a bad attitude for some reason, "pulled Ben over" and started giving him grief and asked him where his vehicle license was (can't recall if he asked for driver's license too). Ben politely said it was just a scooter, he didn't have a license. Net result, Ben got a ticket for operating an unlicensed motor vehicle and I believe had to pay a fine. That should be the only type of problem the NYPD has today.
