Happy Birthday #1

Chic picked out today's pictures from past appearances on the Blog and cleaned them up in honor of my wife's 79th birthday today.
This one is significant since is graces our tombstone in Hugo, Oklahoma.
Actually we celebrated the occasion yesterday at the Crab Trap down by the new Ringling Headquarters.
Aside from the two carloads of people from here we were joined by John and Mary Ruth, Roy & Cindy and kids, Chic, Kenny Dodd, Jackie LeClaire and Bill Powell.
Liquid refreshments were served.

Circus Stamps #1

We had some sort of power failure last night and I awoke to discover no internet and no telephone.
Finally got it restored a short while ago and in order to keep my Blog record perfect, tossed in these pictures Chic had sent some time ago.

From Ryan Henning #1

Last week I had an opportunity to fly to Springfield, MA to see my blue eyed, paint camel liberty display being presented by Ian Garden Jr. in Big E circus spectacular, produced by the legendary Strupi Hanneford. The show looked great! I'd like to share a few photos I took while being there.

From Chic Silber

Last week (17th) was Lois Hoover's 87th birthday.
I know an earlier photo was posted on that date but here is a current image.

Hunt's Circus #1 (From Richard Flint)

Hunt’s began as a wagon show in 1892 out of Kingston, NY, and later wintered for a number of years in Baltimore. This is the ticket office but whether this is Charles, Sr., with one of his sons that would result in the later use of brothers in the title, I do not know.

Hunt's Circus #2

For many years Hunt struggled like most little shows and equipment was repaired many times to make it last. This truck body built 1911 and not discarded until 1938.
