Richard Reynolds says - -The acts are Konselman’s polar bears nearest the camera, Damoo’s leopards in the center, and Mathies’ tigers at the far end.

The leopard act always had a steel performing cage that was much smaller than the ring in which it was set up.. The other two were full sized or nearly so.

When wild animal acts went to the garden dates the animals were in shifting cages like we see for the leopards. There were no big road cages of the sort we saw on the lots spotted outside the big top. These shifting cages had small wheels under them.

I have seen photos of these shifting cages lined up along the track at the base of the garden’s grandstand - -1940 comes to mind. As best I can determine there were never any barred chutes or tunnels leading off the floor of the garden to large cages elsewhere. Dom Yodice can comment on that.
