The Hubley circus even had an iron "Royal Circus" calliope wagon that carried a music-making machine and a Fielding-style bandwagon, both with outside sunburst wheels as seen on the top row. Many of the wagons came in several sizes. Interest in horse-drawn wagon toys waned in the 1920s as interest grew for automotive vehicles.

I have one similar to the one in the lower right hand corner, containing a polar bear and includes the teamster plus a rider on one of the horses.
Title on the skyboard is "Overland Circus".

Buckles, I have one of these Hubley wagons also. It`s original because it was my dad`s and he was born in 1906. Mine is the lion cage but it is painted white. Richard, were was it common for these to be painted in different colors, I`m 100% sure mine has not been repainted.
