When RING OF FEAR was made, Clyde Beatty was already in his early 50’s. Even so, he appears trim and fit, and looks at least 10 years younger than he actually was. In his action scenes with his animals, he exhibits the same energy that he had in THE BIG CAGE, made over 20 years earlier.
