Elephants are: Debbie, Missy and Omi. Gary Thomas to Logan's immediate right.
..Jim is right about the elephants.."The Crew" is Ron Flippo, Dirty Joe and (Scary) Gary Thomas.
Captain Fred C. Logan was one of the best to me and as a fan when you walked on the lot he called you by name and the jackpots started. And always a kind word to you and how are you doing etc.
He could tell you all about the town and what show played it etc.
And you could always expect a fast paced act with real circus music.
And that long mount almost in your lap was a winner.
And Freddy and his family are a class act in show business.
Gone but not forgotten.

Harry,
One of the funniest things I`ve seen at CBCB was when Freddy did the walking long mount at Sunday afternoon show in Greenville, SC one year. The sponser was Belk Department Store and there was all the management & employees sitting in the first couple of rows. When the bulls went into the mount the people went over the seats and cleared the first couple of rows. Funny thing was, most of these folk were wearing coats, ties & dresses.
Hal,
I did the same thing here in town when Circus Vargas played here.
Cliff always put us in his Presidents box and if I did not move I would have been in a elephnats mouth. The audience got a real kick out of me.
I should have styled for them.
