Barnes Sells-Floro BIG TOP INTERIOR (1937) One Sheet Flat, originally uploaded by bucklesw1. From Chris Berry This is an very striking one-sheet for the Al G. Barnes and Sells Floto Circus of 1937. This poster was originally designed for Sells Floto in the early 1930s and when the artists at Erie Litho and Ptg reworked the new expanded title onto this poster they actually did a better job of incorporating the aerial acts into the title than on the original Sells-Floto poster. Also - if you look closely you'll see the images (though unidentified by name) of both Tom Mix and Poodles Hanneford...both attractions on Sells-Floto when the original design was created.
