The act has six tigers.

We have six tigers right now. Our newest addition is an eight month old male cub that can be seen on the edge of this picture. The sixth not pictured is the shoulder stand cat in the next picture.

Chic,

There are a total of 6 cats in the act. Knowing Casey, there will be more. He's always trying to push the envelope with tricks. I am loving watching his progress.

Chic, the fact that you asked that question means that you already knew the answer. I don't recall you ever wondering out loud in the same way about any other act. I'm sure it was a cheap attempt to belittle the act (for whatever personal reason you have). However, in case you haven't noticed, there are few cat acts left and even fewer with more than 6 animals.

No anony (you coward) I did not

know how many tigers are in the

act & my post started with a

compliment that was intended

Tigers & Elephants are my very

favorite animals & I care deeply

I would very much like to see

his act & the entire show

Why don't you start by telling

us who you are

Clearly my poking has struck

quite a few nerves (I'm sorry)

Jeeze Chic,
Heat merchant!!!

And see, I was worried when the pictures first came up, because Mr. Woodcock didn't give me a disclaimer against "insensitive comments" didn't realize I would have such an unruly group of friends and fans firing back and forth......HAHA

Really though people, no harm here Chic is a good guy. Agitator, but good guy....LOL

Thanks Casey

"Stirring" is a fairly recently

aquired ability of mine that was

learned over many many years from

some of the royalty of stirrers

that I have known & worked with

Since soooo many of them are gone

I felt the need to help carry on

the tradition (lest we forget)

When I see and visit with Casey, I keep telling him he needs to keep making his cage larger. It isn't that he has so many cats or even props, it is because his cats are getting better and better at their leaps and his bounceing cats can cover the cage in about three jumps! :)

Not so long ago the discussion was whether Holtzmeir, Williams, Baumann, Marcan, Burke, McMillan etc. had 17 or 19 or 20 or 22 animals in the cage. Gautier, Williams, Woodcock, Carson and Barnes, the Texas Dates, had 20, 22, 24, 30 or 40 elephants. Now we are pissing over 5 or 6 or 8 animals in the cage, and lining up to photograph the "historic occurrence" of 6 elephants together on one show!!!!!!! Sheesh, it's like the NFL has disbanded and we are now trying to decided who ran for the most touchdowns in Pop Warner.

Yes, and carrying two tigers to a 40" X 84" rolling cage allowed you to carry 12 tigers in a semi and elephant punks cost 3 grand a piece - what's your point?

I never liked the acts with so many cats you can't see what they are doing (often not much). Besides without something to do all those seat warmers do is take up time going in and out and make it look more dangerous. One cat is dangerous enough I prefer art from however many animals it takes to do what the trainer wants. Big pyramid: lots of cats, one on one comedy: one cat. All evidence is Casey has "art" i.e. tigers doing something with good presentation.

I forgot to ask Mr. Silber when his recent spread highlighting his swing made the blog - were there more than just the two ropes tied to the board?
Because, I remember seeing pictures from the old Ringling show of up to four ropes tied to a board. Now, THAT'S some SERIOUS showbiz accomplishment!

Dear Boggled Mind

If you look back at the photo of

the swing standing in my office

you can see the bridles of blue

dacron yacht braid that are from

an endless loop crossing under

the steel reinforced board that

was hidden by the red velour so

the simple answer is 4 points at

the swing and 2 primary lines
