The clown in drag should be wearing a black dress so that it blends in with the shroud on the camera.

And I'll tell you, is she ever in for a surprise!

Lee Virtue used to do it to perfection.

What a treat. I note in the checkered suit Lazlo Donnert, also Dougie Ashton and I believe Princ Paul.

I blew up the picture, the clown behind the one in drag is Mark Anthony. I can't say for sure, but the one in drag MAY BE Zapata. He would be the only 'newbie' with enough talent to be in the ring with this group of talented veterans. A GREAT clown who died WAY TOO YOUNG!~frank

Yes indeed it's Mark Anthony but

I don't think it's Prince Paul

Maybe Jimmy (Armstrong?)

can you tell me how to contact Mark Anthony? Laszlo Donnert Jr.

Jack Ryan said...

Best way to contact Mark is with a seance. He's no longer on this earth.

Yup Jack I was pretty sure he was

still dead but in all seriousness

he was a terrific fellow and a

master foam sculptor as well as

an accomplished old school clown

I cherish the carved animals he

gave me years ago in Venice

I'll send a photo to Buckles

just in case along with a hand

painted portrait by an artist

I don't know

It is Marcos Droguett in the dress and I am pretty sure it is Mike Coco in the orange jumpsuit.
I almost 100 per cent sure that it is Prince Paul Alpert.

Mike, help me out with this, was Marcos Droguett the grandfather of Zapata? ~frank
