Worlds Fair Map #2

NY WF-1964-2, originally uploaded by bucklesw1.

Roger, notice the Texas Pavilion at right, the theater presented
a show called "To Broadway With Love".
A history of Broadway Musicals starting with Flora Dora girls
and gents singing, "Every Day Is Ladies Day With Me!" and
continuing up to the Broadway Shows of the day.
They knew me at the stage door so I saw the show many times,
particularly since they had air conditioning and out tent didn't.
I took Smokey in a few times when he visited from Kilroy's place
in Houston, we both liked that sort of music.
One day they clamped down and stopped all walk-ins. Another
victim of Walt Disney.

"To Broadway With Love", that was it. That's what I was trying to remember when rummaging through my trunks for another look at that old unsigned contract. Altho none of our college crowd went, we heard later that this show was cast from Broadway hopefuls already in New York, and already slaves to those dreaded apartment leases.
