FORST TWINS, originally uploaded by bucklesw1. Hi Buckles, Thanks for the posting and thanks to your sender. It brought back many memories, not to be corny or too romantic but it was “love at first site”, when I met Jutta at the Beatty show annual opening in Commack L.I.. For the followers of you blog, which may be of interest… They were booked by Willey Storey and prior to that had toured with every major circus in Europe, as Ferry Forst & Co., along with their Dad & Mom. I have attached a Photo of them when they were with Circo Atayde in Mexico, along with one of Jutta & Tony Curtis. When Ferry retired Jutta framed her own all girl Magic & Illusion show which toured for many years. She was the feature center ring magic act when Hanneford had a 5 ring display of magicians in Detroit, which I have been told was a first. Jutta & Brigitte were with Cirque d’Hiver ( Bouglione )when the movie “Trapeze” was filmed in France. Although they were only kids, a recent meeting with Tony Curtis, who remembered them well, was enjoyed by Mr. Curtis and the twins. Thanks, T.C. Ned
