During the winter of 1949-50 Robbins Bros. had fallen apart, by this time we had moved on to Kelly-Miller and one day in Hugo, D.R.
told my dad that these elephants were for sale and he answered right
away that they were the best trained elephants he had ever worked but
the Cristianis were one step ahead.
