Scan12430, originally uploaded by bucklesw1. I took this picture old "Babe" from the doorway of the elephant car as we were leaving quarters. I remember my dad saying she was the first elephant he ever rode back when he was a young guy on the Barnes Show working for Cheerful. I later heard that she died soon after. We took 21 elephants on the road and left 28 behind.
