We were visiting my Great Aunt in Tampa, my Dad and I got up early one morning and drove down, Somethings you never forget and that is one I never will !
They only put up two poles? Other WQ Big Top shots have all poles used that year. Bradna writes the home top had entrances and exits corresponding to those of MS Garden, thus was used, as in DeMille's pic, as the "practice top".

Did you not mention at some point in the past that one of the Hagenbecks designed this monkey exhibit?
