William
I¹m a reporter with a newspaper in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada and I
came across your informative website the other day.

I gather you knew Fred Logan. I¹ve seen repeated references to the fact that
Fred was from Saskatchewan - a province on the Canadian prairies - and grew
up here as a kid. Do you know where in Saskatchewan, or can you suggest
someone I can contact who would know?

I thought there might be a story here, of how the Logan circus legacy began
in Saskatchewan.

best regards

"I knew Freddy most of my adult life, in fact my father brought him into the U.S. in 1942 where he later served in the Navy during World War II and eventually became a U.S. Citizen.
Several members of his family view this Blog regularly and if so disposed could provide you with details of his youth in Canada as well as his career in the World of the Circus."

According to a 2006 Bandwagon interview, Capt. Logan says he was born in Brandon, Manitoba and went to school in Saskatoon, Moose Jaw and Wilcox, Saskatchewan where he played hockey, lacrosse and baseball.
