I couldn't say, the show opened on the 14th. Mr. De Ritis sent about 20 pictures. I'm sure this collection of 20 people accompanied by a 4 piece band has Al Ringling spinning in his grave like a lathe.
I would imagine the Europeans might be waiting for the rest of the troupe to arrive for "The Greatest Show on Earth". If they have seen Krone, Togni, Medrano, Gruss, Benneweis, or Arena for instance, they might believe the ship transporting the rest was lost at sea! Maybe the European logo translates to "The Greatest Snow Cone on Earth"! Erik Jaeger Hopefully they will enjoy the show, and not be expecting the spectacles of the past.
Well, they did bring some innovations that the Europeans aren't accustomed to - a circus without horses, sawdust or ring mat. Kenneth and Nicole must be so proud. I'd love to read the reviews from Rome.
From 2 people on the show... straw house (bldg. capa. 2000) Sat and Sunday Gradually increased during the week from a beginning of about 600 Publicity in Rome pretty slim Publicity in Milano saturating the town

TGSOE has meant many things over
the years during good and tough
times but this seems to be a new
bottom of the barrel low
What a crime to present something
like this under a banner of such
tremendous legacy

... But they DO have a ring with this show... THAT'S an improvement!
A ring curb and taped homasote
What more could you wish for

Ringling Bros Bingem & Bangem
all over again
Or, CHIC, as Eddie Dullem loved to say, "Wrang-em Bros., Bring-em and Bang-em."
