Sun Bros. isn't correct. The photo shows it on John Robinson around the turn of the century. Deacon Albright may have started and perpetuated that myth, as did someone who placed "Sun Bros." on a negative and sold many copy prints with that errent identification.

Sun Bros did not offer a daily street parade, very unusual for shows of its day.

However, it did put on a parade of sorts through Atlanta’s Lakewood Park fair grounds during its engagement there in October 1918 for the annual Southeastern Fair.

That was at a time when the great Spanish influenza epidemic was at its peak. Sun booked itself into Lakewood at the last minute so as not to be caught in the widespread “shut downs” mandated for field shows that month.

The SE Fair had enough local political clout to remain open despite the epidemic, though patrons had to wear gauze masks over the nose and mouth.

The closing of the Fair meant the end of the Sun Bros Circus, and its properties were sold off in Atlanta.
