this is surely the heyday of the big Garden shows with the color sawdust and all the added frills that Miles White was especially good at. Lots of rigging in the air, too!

When I enlarge this image it appears as though the gentleman in the white jacket in the far ring may be Harold Ronk. The route lists two soloists that year. Count Nicolas was listed as the ringmaster.

I think it's Wallace Show Trilby.
Harold Ronk never announced under canvas, only indoors at New York, Boston and San Francisco.
He never made a full season until the show moved indoors.
