At the Rome Coliseum with Irvin Feld signing the contract to buy the circus.

It was Lee Solters (bottom right) who met Irvin Feld when Feld was Paul Anka's manager and Lee was his publicist; When Irvin bought the circus he hired Lee's agency to do the publicity and Jack Ryan was a key part of that early team.

Lee Solter's and Jack Ryan. It is hard to imagine or find a better team at what they did. Mix in Bloom and Digney and it doesn't get any more skilled or talented than that.

It boils down to this for me personally -- nobody every taught me more about the business of show business than did Lee. He made me understand what publicity is, how it works and how to do it.

I am forever in his debt and, luckily, got a chance a few years to tell him so.

Rest in peace, Lee.
