Seeing this photo makes me want to dig out and listen to an old record I have of them doing "Mockingbird Hill." Les Paul guitars are quick collectible today.
We worked a lot of punkin fairs with this couple. They had a small van they would pull in behind the stage with reel to reel recorders in it and they sounded like a big band.A real oddity back in the late 50's
Just across the street from Lincoln Center, Les Paul was a permanent feature at a hotel lounge. Every time I walked by his picture in the hotel's window my thoughts returned to Hot Springs High School and "The Little Rock Getaway!"

Les and Mary were both from Wis.
So there, there are more than cheese heads in Wis.!!!
Speaking of the Les Paul guiters, they are worth in the thousands, too bad that bull hooks aren't quite as popular.
