I guess it DOES get color! Great Ringmaster coat! Any relation to Wally Naughton?

(I meant that the portable dressing room gets color, not the coat!) ~frank
No relation to the Wally Naghtin Family.
Tina's portable dressing room is a traffic stopper backstage - it is THE TALK OF THE SHRINE DATES this spring. Great idea.
I showed the photo to John Kennedy Kane, a/k/a EGGROLL, when I ran into him at the Jordan date in Utica, NY and EGGROLL wants his "Johnny Box" to have a microwave oven.
Is that all Mike's checking out?
John,
I didn't see Mike. If I wanted to get my nice looking coat noticed, I would sure pick someone else to pose with. Tina sure is a beauty.

As long as we're placing orders...
I'd like to order a few more pictures of Tina!
Tina Winn is one of The Scotts of Great Britain fame, although I believe Tina was born in the USA; her sisters are: Pom Pom Donoho, Stevie Coronas and Vivian Scott.
"Galaxy Girl Tina" is an astute businesswoman and has a slew of fair bookings with her thrill show. Her crew members told me that there is a line with a 45 minute wait to get her autograph and pose for pictures at the Topsfield Fair in Massachusetts.
Further info is available at galaxygirlevents.com
I wonder if she gets as much for an autograph as Brett Favre used to.
What was the line up of acts at canton,oh show?
thanks

Thom Wheaton and Todd Zimmerman, 7 year veterans of Ringling and multi-year entertainers at Sea World and Disney World made their Shrine Circus debut in Canton with two very clever clown gags that registered many laughs throughout both spots. Please note that both gags, plus the come-in were done without the aid of a whistle.
American Clowning was well represented in Canton.
The Tadmor Shrine has a tradition of local 8th graders in the Green Middle School who are invited to sing the National Anthem at each performance.
The first girl was fantastic and our hopes were elevated to stratospheric heights that these kids were going to be all right. All hope was lost with the remaining contestants; I felt like I was hosting the out-of-town tryouts for American Idol.
For those historians of circus music, the aerial ballet featured "The Peanut Vendor" which was mentioned in this blog a while ago regarding the Ringling elephant number.
Mike,
Great Britain fame???? What's up with that? Sounds like Tina is of the United States of America fame. That's a leg up in my book.

NOTE: Neche (sp?) is a performer from Colombia, South America who presented the Terranova tigers on the Universoul Circus last season.
The Scotts came to the USA for a 2 year contract the King Brothers Circus and ended up stranded in Macon, Georgia when the show went broke. They joined Pollack Brothers. The Scotts were part of a conglomerate that included the Bill Stebbings and Tony Fossett branches of the family. Pom Pom clued me in to this info when I visited in Utica a few nights ago.
Inside joke - I am a contributing editor to Burke's Peerage and Gentry, circus edition.
Neecha Braun's Wild Angels is going to be the next "hot" act on the Shrine Circus circuit; recently returned from Japan and a multi-year engagement with the FLYING FARFANS at the POP CIRCUS.
Neecha is Eric and Fannie Braun's daughter.
The aerial lyra's announcement when the girls descend to the floor was, "From the Boardwalk in Atlantic City..........The Steel Pier Beauties".
As a nod to the rich heritage of the Hamid Family and their Famous Steel Pier.
There was a Broadway Musical, Steel Pier, which didn't last long, as well as SIDE SHOW, a story based on the lives of the Siamese Twins, The Hilton SIsters. Both shows have tunes that could be used for circus. Chic might have more insider information.
I proposed the "Wild Angels" part of the announcement to Neecha who OK'd it, along with Fannie. This was inspired by the long forgotten Peter Fonda movie about gals, guys and motor cycles.
Thanks, Mike! I wish I would have made it over.
