An amazing story about Alberto -
His daughter, Tosca and her husband, Jay were working on my Yankee Doodle Circus.
Alberto and Giovanni visit us in New Jersey on their way to a Hamid date.
The house is open, we have a good crowd, Alberto observes from the end of the building and tells me that "You are going to have a good day, my friend. I think $$$." He guesstimates an amount.
Alberto was in the building about 3 minutes and does not know our pricing, etc.
At the end of the day Alberto is within 3.8 per cent of the correct gross.
The next day I congratulate him on this extraordinary feat. He chuckles, "Mike, I am 82 years old and I learned to count in Italian before I could speak English". He grinned and his eyes twinkled.
Ciao Alberto, il mio buon amico!
