Another well known personality, Charlie Campbell, best remembered as the proprietor of the "Marie O'Day Palace Car".

Mr. Campbell was way ahead of his time as he is seen with a prototype spinning rectangle. This is a forerunner of the spinning cube.

Bill and I met Mr. Campbell back in 1961. He was playing a farmer's market in Dover, DE. I'll never forget He was really happy He had just purchased an undertakers hearse and had to show it to us.
I beleive it was Dub Duggan's show and he was managing the office. They had just come through New York City with those 40' semis and he told us it was a nightmare. He also had to show us how he had the office rigged up with mirrors so that he could see every move the ticket seller made. Of course back then they didn't have closed circuit televison
