It seems a bit unusual to have all these folks walking over to [or from] the show. Normally one would see fields filled with horse and buggy outfits adjacent to the white tops. Maybe the show set up outside the town limits to duck the license fee? Or, maybe a special excursion train has just disgorged this crowd at the station for the matinee?
