"Big Modoc" Washburn's Shows 1906

Scan11090, originally uploaded by bucklesw1. At left is the earliest picture I have of this famous elephant. Later a feature with RBBB 1931 thru 1956. I arrived at the Sarasota Quarters shortly after her death in January of 1957 and everyone was still commenting on the event.
