Buckles,
The attached picture is from the Oregonian newspaper. It is of
Morgan Berry's thai who is currently at the Houston Zoo. I'm sure you've
heard story but as it was told to me, the day Morgan was killed Thai ran
away and was "at large" for over a day until he found sleeping on this
stretch of highway. This picture corresponds to the pics "unidentified
#3 & #4".

Is this perhaps the elephant also known as Me Thai, or Me Thu? If so, we leased her from Morgan about 1974-1976 for our show Wallace and Rogers Circus. She was a real sweetheart.

No this is Thai, but Methai also lives at the Houston Zoo as well.
