Jim, you're younger than either Ole Whitey or myself so don't scare us into thinking we're senile! The 1961 program I have (signed by Beatty to me!) has "Bob Top and Lauren, 'Skaters In The Sky' High Up in The Big Top, On A Tiny Platform, Behold An Adagio, Acrobatic Thriller On Roller Skates." However, to ease your worries about senility, I think in later years, perhaps with a different partner, it was Bob Top and Edna. Us old folks have trouble remembering the more recent stuff. The man in the coveralls with his back to us is the late long-time rigger, John Schweitzer. He would always draw a crowd of the workingmen when he was working with intricate rope and cable splicing. He told them that's how he learned, by sidling up and watching his predecessors.

looks like Bob Top's skating platform??
Right- Bob Top and Lauren. Good act- very fast routine.
The Count introduced than as "From the Tip Top of the Big Top- Skating in the sky- Bob Top and Lauren."
Or words very close to that.
I always thought it was Bob Top and Edna...Am I going senile??
