Barely visible at the bottom are the Buck exhibit admission prices: 25 cents for adults and 15 cents for children. This works out to $3.84 and $2.31 in today’s dollars. In 1939, an adult admission to the Fair was 75 cents ($11.53). In 1940, this was dropped to 50 cents ($7.68). The famous Parachute Jump (the most popular ride at the Fair) cost 40 cents ($6.14).
