History of Weber Bros Circus: The first Weber Bros Circus was started in the 1800's in Germany. Otto Weber looked to the young prospering Australia and decided that a European Circus would do well there. So in 1957 he, his wife Elvira and two sons Bert and Ernst toured Australia with Weber & Sons Circus. Otto's son, Bert returned home to Europe and ten years later returned to Australia with wife Josephine and their four sons Harry, Rudiger, Markus and Jeffrey. Bert established himself as a coachbuilder creating specialised vehicles for circuses, and his sons continued the Weber Bros Circus Tradition.
Today: They worked hard to provide a circus show that eventually came to be recognized as the best in Australia. This success encouraged them to include New Zealand as part of their Australian Tour. So in 1995 they crossed te sea to New Zealand. The early years in New Zealand were hard as the public did not know the circus but the quality of the show was soon recognized and the reputation of the show spread. Weber Bros Circus has been touring in New Zealand for a long time and has made NZ their headquarters for their Australian Tour.
