Maggie,
What a great way to start off the week with great photos of Pat Anthony.
I first met Pat when he was with Miller Johnson Circus and it played Houston, Texas at Pinn Oak Stables.
Pat gave me permision and I shot still pictures out side the arena.
I always ask for permission first as that way there is no heat and every one is happy.
I got some great action shots and next year when the new Circus Vargas came through I got Pat to autograph them and gave him some for his collection.
Pat, always put on a great show and what a cage of fury it was. A fight to the finish and plenty of action.
It was always great through the years on Circus Vargas to visit with him and hear some of those great stories.
Another circus great gone but not forgotten.
Harry
Gee Gee and Pat had a respectful but [ribbing] relationship and were in fact quite fond of each other and would be on Polack together, she with her whip popping husky dogs and he with his wild wild cat act. She would laughingly refer to him as Pat Agony and he in turn had a number of terms for her.
