By this we can see that Jungleland by no means originated with our late operation in Thousand Oaks. Previously, it had been World Jungle Compound, and long before that, from 1923 to 1946, it was Goebel's Lion Farm. I have wondered how many Junglelands there have been. Clyde Beatty's place in North Miami was one, running roughly about a season beginning in 1960. There was a Jungleland a few years back in Kissimmee, and it seems a few smaller operations through the years used that title. Maybe some contributors know of them around the country.
