Buckles,
I always liked the unique elephant hook, with the turned down trunk. I was lead to believe it lead to the eventual derailment. LOL

Wade, I am not superstitous...However, although I don't walk under ladders, and always throw salt over my shoulder if I tip over a Salt shaker...Yet,Birds in the tent (I have a stuffed 3-legged chicken & a pickled 2-headed duck) and yellow on the tent (Have yellow Exit)have never botherd me...The turned down trunk DID-NOT cause derailment...Some like to Blame Brads decision to run off "A Game of Chance" Hee,Hee,Hee...And the firing of a Jealous BullMan (Who could blame Klaus...Angel is a FOX!)...The main culprit was a Engineer who was (As the Col. would Say..) doin a Double-Double of Jim Beam and couldnt stop the train in time!.......Tippin on the job is NO excuse when things go Awry..(C.B.D.M. left that scene on the cuttin room floor)..Jim Zajicek (Callin a Ballgame)

Clearly the railroad as owners of the track were really to blame for allowing the first and second sections to run so close together. I'm sure it cost the Lionel Line billions to settle the suit. The Lucky Boys claimed to have the back of a Mr. Henderson, but I believe Henderson was merely a beard for the the then up and coming Feld Bros who have engineered the train wreck hoping to force the show indoors. The whole idea that a game of chance on the midway was "wrong" while a game of cards on the train was okay (so long as there was a clown in full makeup present) was just a cover invented to conceal what was really going on.

We notice Arky is looking at the elephant. Lyle Bettger (Klaus) is looking at the audience.

In this shot, Angel bounds to the curb for a style, and the elephant comes down behind her, knocking her into the sawdust.
