Theres the "herd hook" that Lou Regan loved so much. Used nothing else outside of the ring. I have always found it interesting that back in the day, hooks were almost like bits for a horse. Different styles for different purposes. Hooks became pretty standardized when there were not as many things to do with an elephant.

I believe hooks became shorter and more dainty...due to Aimal Rights, rather than practcality....How many times have you heard 'I don't even use the Hook' So, If you don't use it...Why do you carry it?
Or "Its dull anyhow" In my court case in DC at the USDA Building in their courtroom, with their Judge, I proved you can use a Hook, draw blood and still be within the AWA regulations...Yet, few people have ever called to ask me about this...Yet quite a few have told me how I ruined the Business...Has nothin to do with whats done with a animal...but, more to do with Coverin up their tracks.....Jim Zajicek (Limited)
