Rice Bros. Circus 1936 #4

Yet on the same day, a third Buck painted on the equipment "Buck Owens". I remember him, when my dad worked for Terrell Jacobs in 1944, a show was framed with Owens who had a canopy and seats while Jacobs supplied all the animals. As I recall it only lasted a few days, opened and closed in Peru.
There is an elephant painted on this truck but I don't have any listed in either 1935 or '36 but they did lease three from the Cole Show in 1937.

So in summation, like the "Two Bills Show" in days past, this would have been the "Three Buck Show" of 1936. They were wise in not using "Buckles" since I had a copyright on that title.

How did you get the nickname "Buckles?"

This is easy. When you clearly advertise as the Rice Circus does that the Wild West is three Bucks, how dare a townsperson complain when you charge them that?
