A young British backpacker who fell ill on his flight home and later died had been sick and living on the streets for three weeks, friends have revealed.
Michael Edgeley, 22, vomited blood while aboard an Emirates flight from Melbourne to Dubai last Thursday night.
He was given emergency oxygen by the cabin crew and the plane was forced to divert to Mumbai, but he was declared dead when he arrived in hospital.
