To All Who had the opportunity to be blessed to know Leon "Buddy" J. Olivier,

It is with great sadness that I send this e-mail and let you know that Buddy passed away on Wednesday, January 9th surrounded by his Wife, Robyn, his Brother Pete, and wife Bonnie, his Daughter Soni, and his best friend Bob Harris and wife Penny.

Buddy lived a tremendous life, and he had a way of touching all he met personally, even if it had only been for a short time. Buddy deeply loved his family and he was often the mastermind of a well thought out plan or prank to bring joy to another's life. Buddy was always more concerned about the mood of those around him vs. his own well being.

His family and friends will deeply miss him and his quick wit. He loved the Circus and his life played out much like a Circus event. Much like the Ring-Leader, you always new when Buddy entered the room, and he was a master at keeping everything organized and on-task.

Buddy's life will be celebrated tomorrow, in Lafayette Louisiana.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in the name of Leon "Buddy" J. Olivier, to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.

Personal condolences may be sent to the Olivier family at www.delhommefuneralhome.com.

Buddy was a circus fan till the end.
We got to see Carson and Barnes together with our wives and his last circus before going to that big show in the sky.
